La Grande Course… It’s prize-giving time

We parted company just after the conclusion of an epic Mezzalama Trophy - an extremely tough race made even more punishing by weather conditions verging of impracticability. We parted company after a “Grande Course” that really lived up to its name and marked the culmination of a highly satisfying season: a winter of great classic races, starting with the 4 days of Pierra Menta and really taking off  with a super Adamello Ski Raid that came to a triumphant conclusion at the Breuil-Cervinia finishing line. But before finally drawing a line under a super winter season and embarking on a new and perhaps even more exciting one, we wanted to pay tribute to the best teams from the past season. For the occasion, we have organised a prize-giving ceremony in true Grand Course style in a central location: “Le Signal” in Les Saisies, in the French Beaufortain massif. What’s cooking…
You don’t change a winning format; if anything, you try to make it even better. The La Grande Course Jeunes project  continues. Young people are the present and future of the sport we love and consequently we shall continue to accompany all the great classic races with an ad hoc event dedicated to youngsters. A novelty for 2016 will be the introduction of the Open Altitoy Ternua - an important new entry in the great family of La Grande Course. Do you fancy competing in a new race? Are you keen to be part of this new adventure, but perhaps are a little put off by the logistics of the trip? No problem. Like every great family, we love travelling together and sharing new experiences with our friends.
