The Pierra Menta 2015. The Grande Course circuit really gets going with this third uphill leg which starts at 2741 mt.. A really massive stage which included a stretch at the foot of the Pierra Menta, the mountain which gives the transalpine race its name.  As in the previous two days, Matteo Eydallin – Damiano Lenzi Tappa, have thrown down the gauntlet and taken a decisive lead in the overall classification. They clocked up a time of  3h03'13" and an overall lead of 4'22" over their closest rivals.  As in the two previous days, second place went to local athletes William Bon Mardion - Xavier Gachet 3h04'06".  Third place for the young Italians Michele Boscacci - Robert Antonioli 3h07'52". No surprises as far as the women’s race is concerned: the queens of the Pierra are back and are imposing their rhythm on their adversaries. Laetitia Roux e Mireia Mirò won in 3h48'35" over Axelle Mollaret - Emelie Forsberg 3h54'31" and Severine Pont Combe - Jennifer Fiechter 3h55'47". The cadet category was won by a newly-formed couple composed of the Polisportiva Albosaggia’s own Giulia Murada together with team-mate Justine Tonso from France. The other pairs joining them on the podium were  Fanny Meynet Cordonnier - Marie Pollet Villard and Melanie Ploner - Giorgia Felicetti. For the men, first place on the day went to the team Arthur Blanc - Quentin Dulac over Julien Ancay - Arno Lietha and Lucas Bertolini - Baptiste Ellmenreich.  On the junior course, the young stars of the Italian contingent Giulia Compagnoni - Alba De Silvestro confirmed the predictions on the eve of the race by beating Adèle Miloz - Sophie Mollard and Léna Bonnel - Manon Gaydon.  In the male junior category  Samuel Equy - Swann Jullaguet had the edge over Remi Bonnet - Micha Stainer  and Thomas Corthay - Arnaud Gasser.
